Friday Night Fever

Tonight was the first Night Fever, which will happen each month, with this evening taking on the theme of new beginnings.

Tonight saw Mrs Campbell-Thow tell all how much her religion means to her and how she discovered its importance. Along with this we heard a reading from Mrs Milwain.

We celebrated what we had done and what we hope to do in future. A truly lovely evening that was rounded off by all of us each tying a ribbon to a specially planted tree at St Catherine's.

We would love for you to come along and explore your faith - especially if you are involved in caritas - just speak to Mrs C-T or Mrs Milwain.

Thank you to Father Anthony for welcoming all of us and delivering some of the evening too.

Episode 2: Friday, 5th September 2014

Today's show is the first full show lasting almost 25 minutes in which we were able to squeeze some topical debate, IP updates and lingo chat into. This episode is hosted by Anthony Carroll and Declan McLean, they were joined by our very first guests Mr Turner and Mrs Campbell-Thow

Ice Bucket Challenge raises £120

Yesterday (27 August) the ladies on the first floor, with special guests Mr Carroll and Mr Rainey and also some of us - the lingo ninjas - took part in the ice bucket challenge to raise money for both SCIAF and the Glasgow Soup Kitchen. The event was hoped to raise £100 and has now exceed that as it stands currently at £120.

A massive thank you from all of us and also the modern languages department. If you haven't already donated there is still time just give your donation to Mrs Campbell-Thow.

If you weren't at the event or if you just want to watch the whole thing again it has now been uploaded to our YouTube channel:

The #LadiesOnTheFirstFloor Ice Bucket Challenge

Tomorrow (27 August) at 1:30pm the only place you need to be is at the front of the school to watch Mrs Riley, Mrs Storrie, Miss Goldie and Mrs Campbell-Thow (modern languages) joined by colleagues Mr Carroll (PE) and Mr Rainey (Business Education) take on the ice bucket challenge to raise money for sciaf and the soup kitchen, this comes after @allsaintslingo tweeted on Sunday:

#allsaintsallstars if we gett 100 RTs thew #ladiesonthefirstfloor will do the ice bucket challenge on the 3rd for @sciaf & the soup kitchen

Today, @allsaintslingo along with other accounts, accumulated over 100 RTs sealing their cold, icy fate!

Being part of the #LingoFamily GMN couldn't allow them to take it on themselves and some of us will be getting drenched too!

We need you to come along to support us in our challenge but also to dig deep and donate whatever you can to these deserving causes.

So, see you at lunch at the front of the school - bring on the ice!
